Description of the Dam
Luna is a sociable, sweet natured girl, living her best life as a companion, vineyard dog, and tasting-room greeter at her owner’s winery near Hood River, Oregon. See photos below.
Luna is 4 years old, medium size, with a straight coat and a well balanced build and features. Her hips are OFA good, elbows normal (2025 exam) and she is clear for PRA-prcd, CEA, DM, and MDR-1 (Embark) as well as for PRA6 (by pedigree). Her genetic COI is 4%.
Description of Sire
Branch is a highly confident, athletic, and outgoing dog. He loves people and gets along with other dogs, enjoying group hikes and traveling with his owner.
At 6 years of age, Branch has an athletic build and a low maintenance coat. His hips are OFA good and elbows normal at age 6 years, and Embark panel clear for MDR-1, CEA, and DM; he carries one copy of PRA-prcd (not expressed due to recessive nature – Luna is clear for PRA-prcd so puppies are not at risk). He is clear for PRA6. Branch is from Orchard Hill English Shepherds.
Litter
I expect puppies from Luna and Branch to be very social, athletic, and quick to learn. They should be suitable for active family homes, dog sports, and as farm helpers. The estimated genetic COI for this match is 4% and the generation interval is approximately 6 years. Both parents are sound, healthy dogs and we expect the puppies to be as well. Coat colors for puppies may include both clear and shaded sable, tricolor, seal, and black (all with white markings). Puppies should be born in early spring (February) and ready for new homes in April 2026.
