Peaslee's Brighton, CGC ~ 1996 - 2012

Brighton was a steady, confident dog with an old soul

About Brighton

Brighton was the matriarch of our dog pack — a steady, confident dog who knew how to keep pups (and children) in line. She was the proverbial iron fist in a velvet glove: calm and gentle, determined and self-assured. Brighton’s offspring have proven their abilities as both farm and family dogs, as Service dogs, and in Search and Rescue.

Brighton’s training was casual (at best); without doubt, she taught us more than we taught her! Thankfully, she was an extremely reliable and resilient dog. She earned her CGC (canine good citizen) certification despite our lack of effort, and also passed both OFA and CERF evaluations.

Brighton is the foundation female for all of our dogs.  Her offspring also include Red Bank Shooter, Cimarron Rustler, Foley’s Diva, and Peaslee Float Like a Butterfly.
